WHY GIVE?
Regardless of what their backgrounds are, kids are kids and they respond to camp. They respond to the cabin leaders and to the whole experience in similar ways and leave camp with more confidence in themselves and with the tools to help them make the right choices in life.
Each year in Southern California, nearly 2,000 deserving low-income children ages 8 to 17 experience the great outdoors at The Salvation Army Lawrence M. Daley Camp and Conference Center, nestled among 500 acres of old oaks and sycamores in the beautiful Malibu Canyon.
Please give to help us send 2,000 inner city, under-served children to camp!
VOLUNTEER
There are many ways to volunteer and be a part of what is going on at camp. Each month we have groups of 5-25 people come out to help accomplish tasks around camp. Projects range from building benches, fences, and structures to raking leaves and helping with office task.
No matter who you are, we can find a place for you to help out!
